Danny began in show business in the early 70s starting on the North East club circuit as a stand up comic, however he was soon recognised as a very funny and first class entertainer and national TV work quickly followed.

Working as a warm up man in most media's, it was not long before he was in front of the camera, appearing in shows such as Summer Time Special, Fun-Fantasia and of course the hit series from Granada TV The Comedians. In May 2006 he featured on ITV's Comedy programme "It's Funny Up North".

Danny has worked for all the major TV channels BBC, ITV and when appearing on Sky he was the winner of ‘The Frog Award’ for best comedian.

Appearing along side names such as Tom O' Conner, Bob Monkhouse, Les Dawson, Keith Chegwin, Lionel Blair, and many more well known celebrities.

Danny has appeared in Cabaret, Summer Season, Panto and Radio as well as T.V. His style has evolved into a hilarious mixture of story telling and gags reflecting life and Danny's own extremely humorous experiences. He has spent time in Dubai hosting corporate events and theatre productions, Danny has recently been entertaining audiences on all the major cruise ships.
